Keeping kids busy creating crafts not only stops them from being bored, but it also develops their imaginations, learning skills, and teaches them patience. But above all – crafting is great fun!
Always keep a box of scraps in the house that you can add bits and pieces to as you come across them.
Don’t throw away that old shirt or jumper! Cut it up into rags and throw in the craft box. Keep old empty egg boxes and food packaging to make junk models or treasure boxes!
Old jewellery can be recycled to decorate home-made gift cards, or to add to rag dolls.
