Since our switch from print to interactive digital production, we are often asked a lot of questions about how the change over has affected us, so we have put together a short FAQ list to help answer some of your questions:
Q: Has going digital resulted in more vistors to your website?
A: YES! Because we have built up a loyal readership of our magazine over the past 9 years, our readers still want to continue to read our magazine, and have gone online to continue to read the digital version.
Q: Can your readers click through to websites from the magazine?
A: YES! When you supply us with your copy, we make sure every web link and email address you include is live and fully clickable, so with one click of the mouse our readers can visit your website, or send you an email.
Q: How do we find out when a new issue of your magazine has gone live?
A: When you sign up to our email newsletter, we will automatically send out a notification informing you a new issue is live and readable directly from our home page at www.cotswoldfamilylife.org You can sign up for our double opt-in email newsletter by completing the form on our home page, or clicking here: email newsletter.
Q: Can we include printable vouchers in your magazine?
A: YES! We will place your discount voucher, or free entry voucher on the page, and our readers will be able to print off the page and cut the voucher out as normal.
Q: What formats should we send our copy in?
A: We accept adverts and photographs in high resolution Jpeg format, and adverts can also be sent over in PDF format making sure all text is converted to Curves, and the file is locked. We accept articles and advertising copy in Word format.
Q: How do we get our advertising and copy to you?
A: You can email us your information for inclusion to us at this address: firstname.lastname@example.org
Q: What if I don’t have any artwork prepared?
A: Don’t worry! We offer a FREE service to people who wish to advertise, but don’t have their own advertising ready. Just send us the information you would like to see displayed in an advert, and we will happily make up and advert for you. We will proof the copy with your before adding it to our magazine.
Q: How much does it cost to advertise with you?
A: We do not charge for advertising in our magazine issues.
